Junction of the Boston & Maine and Delaware and Hudson (Rutland & Washington branch), railroads. The Boston and Maine ran up from Troy NY and the D&H joined up from Mechanicsville NY. To the left looking east the tracks continued up to Cambridge and Salem NY then on to Castleton and Rutland beyond. To the right looking east the Boston and Maine continued eastward to the Hoosick Jct Wye then north to White Creek and east to Petersburg Jct on the Chatham branch. At White Creek the trackage transformed into the Rutland main line.
