Yes, I know, #900 technically is not a
"post-war" car, but it was just too darned interesting to not include it
here! -JRD) |

| Notes: |
- "Class" refers to AAR classification.
- SUF generally refers to a wood car rebuilt with a steel underframe.
- Builders: OB-Osgood-Bradley of Worcester,
Mass.
P-Pullman
ACF-American Car &
Foundry
R-Rutland RR
Shops
SSC-Standard Steel Car
- "1947" and "1953" refer to the existence of a particular car in the
respective "Official Register of Passenger Car Equipment." In some
cases it is not possible to determine the existence of a particular car,
only the number of cars in a series. For example, "2 of 4" refers to the
fact that 2 cars out of a series of 4 cars still were on the roster at
that time).
- Omissions and errors are inevitable. Please send corrections
and additions to webmaster.

- Thanks to Jay Conant for supplying the 1/10/50
roster.

- Much of this information is from a list in the Fall, 1996
Rutland Newsliner supplied by Ray
Muntz. Some of these cars are not on the post-war roster
above but survived due to conversion to work train service.
If you know the location of any existing ex-Rutland rolling stock or
other equipment, please contact webmaster. Include the Rutland number, location, condition and
any other data that would be of interest and we will add it to our
lists. Thanks!
- Thanks to Bill Badger, Jeff English, Scott Whitney,
Glenn Annis and Rome Romano.
