0-6-0 Steam Switcher #107

Acquired from the Clarendon & Pittsford in 1946 and became the sole of class B-3. Retired in 1953. The second shot is a low angle view of the reverse side of #107 taken at Burlington. The third photo came from a builder's photo showing it in its former owners livery as the Clarendon & Pittsford #9 which was taken in December 1924. Collection of Jim Dufour

Rutland Class K-2 Pacific #82

Renumbered almost immeadiately to #31 by the Rutland as she poses in 1913 for its builder's photo at Schenectady NY for the American Locomotive Company. She was retired in 1952. Collection of Jim Dufour

RUTLAND CLASS F-2-j #2077 (Renumbered in 1913 to #77)

RUTLAND CLASS L-1#93 MOUNTAIN

RUTLAND 2-8-2 MIKADOS

The Rutland Railroad acquired six 2-8-2 Mikado type locomotives in 1918. The engines were built by Alco's Schenectady Works to the United States Railroad Administration (U.S.R.A) specifications for a light 2-8-2. They were classed H-6 on the Rutland and formed the backbone of the Rutland freight hauling fleet until the arrival of the diesels in the early 1950s.
